Lamella separator

The lamella separators have a higher capacity in the same footprint as a traditional sedimentation container, making them well suited for the construction industry where space is often a limiting factor. In addition, the lamella separators offer a solution for continuous sludge removal, resulting in less downtime.

 The lamella separator works by the water entering the separator in the middle. The water is forced down under the partitions and up through the lamellas. The smooth surfaces of the lamellas ensure easier precipitation of particles, and the clean water flows over the overflow. The sludge collects at the bottom of the tank and is removed either by a screw or pump, depending on the model. The effect of sedimentation is increased by using a suitable precipitating agent.
